I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a deep commitment to helping individuals heal and grow. I began my professional journey in service, enlisting in the U.S. Navy immediately after high school, where I spent five years on multiple overseas deployments. After completing my military service, I returned to my hometown of Fresno and pursued my passion for psychology, earning both my undergraduate degree in Psychology (2012) and my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy (2015) from California State University, Fresno.
Since 2015, I’ve worked extensively in community mental health, serving youth and families in a variety of settings including school-based programs, outpatient clinics, and high-intensity outpatient care. My clinical work is grounded in trauma-informed approaches, and in 2018, I completed training in EMDR and the EMDR Flash Technique. I became an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist in 2021.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll often find me exploring the outdoors—running, climbing, or skiing in the mountains or along the coast. These activities help me stay grounded and bring balance to my life, which I strive to support in my clients as well.
